Fees are 100% non-refundable at any time. In registering for this program you are making a commitment to yourself, your teacher, and to your peers. Annual payments are nonrefundable and are due on schedule. Participants are required to make up missed in-person events at their own expense to receive certification.

The strict no refund policy is in place to confirm your deep commitment to the program, to a daily practice, attendance, and on-time completion of assignments.

Your space in the program is guaranteed upon receipt of either your $500 deposit or your 1st payment if paying annually.

Course fees include the cost of tuition and meals & shared accommodation at the annual retreats. They do not include the cost of any travel, accommodation, or food for the immersion. Nor do they include the cost of books, props, the evaluation fee, nor fees for any yoga teacher membership association. The fees do not cover the cost of any insurance policy or additional services.

Participants may choose annual or monthly payment plans upon registration and application. Whichever option is selected, fees are payable for each year of the program at the start of the year, and students must pay for each full year that they begin. If a student is unable to complete a year due to circumstances beyond their control, Chris Clancy may, in her discretion, offer a gift certifictae, waive or refund a portion of the fees for the unused balance of the program.

Chris Clancy yoga reserves the right to refuse applications for any reason, in which case you will receive a full refund less a $50 administration fee.


Practitioners are expected to have a minimum of 2 years experience practicing yoga prior to making application. Successful applicants should be 19 years or older, in good health and have general stability in their life sufficient for carrying out the full extent of the training.

Latecomers may be admitted to the training at the discretion of Chris Clancy yoga and are responsible to make up missed contact hours at their own expense.


By participating in classes, workshops or retreats, you acknowledge that yoga includes physical movements which carries with it the the risk of injury.  You assume full responsibility for any and all injury, loss or damage, which may incur through participation. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you agree that you will discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. 

By signing up for classes, workshops or retreats, you affirm that you are in good health and physical condition to participate in physical exercise. You have the responsibility to discuss any health concerns with a health care professional and to make the instructor aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class.
Participants agree to abide by the norms of behavior created by the training group during our 1st session. Failure to do so could result in being asked to leave the training with no refund of course fees.

Chris Clancy reserves the right to change alter or amend the location, dates or daily itinerary/curriculum for each training session. Changes can be made for various reasons including changes in location, teacher or evaluator

*Students who successfully complete the first two years of training, including all assignments, teaching practicum, and teaching feedback sessions can request a letter to submit for registration with the Canadian Yoga Alliance.

Upon successful completion of the 3 year program, all assignments, personal practice requirements and final evaluation, the student will be granted an 800 hour Vijñana Yoga International Certification.

Students are responsible for attending all sessions and completing all assignments and the evaluation within the program schedule. Those who do not can, with instructor permission, extend their training up to 18 months during which time additinal monthly or annual fees are payable based on rates in effect at the time.


All material relating to the Program or Package for which you are enrolling whether presented during, before or after the Program, is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights.  The copyright in all such materials remains the property of the owner and may not be recorded, used or reproduced, without the written permission of the copyright owner. You agree not to do anything, at any time that would infringe the intellectual property rights in such materials.

Usage of photos and videos

Pictures, sound recordings and videos taken during training sessions may be used by Chris Clancy in a promotional capacity such as on social media, the organization website, or in print material. By participating in this program trainees give full permission for their image to be released.

Photos, sound recordings and videos taken by trainees during training, either online or in person, are deemed to be for learning and personal use only. Sharing this information for financial gain without written permission from Chris Clancy is prohibitted.

Participants who do not want their images recorded or used may request written agreement that their image will not be used before the start of the program.

Students may not assign or transfer their rights under this agreement.

Any dispute or disagreement that cannot be resolved through discussion will be submitted to arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Act of British Columbia, and the laws of British Columbia will apply.

Please be sure that you are can make the dates and wish to do the training before confirming your booking. Submitting your deposit or first installment payment is deemed to be agreement to this contract without recourse for refund.
